Environmental Projects

The Delta Chapter is the Sierra Club in the State of Louisiana. They advance the cause of protecting Louisiana's environment in a variety of ways, including lobbying the state legislature in Baton Rouge, sponsoring a Mercury Public Education Campaign, raising public awareness about climate change, and working to keep the Atchafalaya Basin, America's greatest river swamp, wet and wild.

Parkway Partners mission is to beautify and maintain the city of New Orleans neutral grounds, playgrounds and parks, transform vacant lots into community gardens and pocket parks, and preserve the urban forest.

Save Our Wetlands is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, protection & conservation of the wetlands in and around New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Voice of the Wetlands (VOW) is an organization that is made up strictly of volunteers who dedicate their talent, time and resources to bring global attention to south Louisiana and the world's coastal erosion problem.
