Remembering Pearl Harbor at The National World War II Museum WHAT: Commemorate the day that will live in infamy and honor the Americans that made the ultimate sacrifice with a visit to The National World War II Museum. All day events for Saturday and Sunday – · Pick up a special guide to the exhibits that highlights Pearl Harbor artifacts and oral histories. · Enjoy WWII family activities including building a Higgins boat, island hopping in the Pacific and code-breaking. · Where were you on December 7, 1941? – Show us where you were the day you heard the news by making your mark on a U.S. map and then filling out a brief personal history form for the Museum archives. · See special rarely displayed artifacts like a model of the USS St. Louis with the actual flag that flew over the ship on the day of the attack. · View period footage from both American and Japanese sources. · Visit the Museum Store and enjoy a special 20% discount on all items, including books and DVDs related to Pearl Harbor.
