Several historical events are planned: September 15 marks the Independence Day for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua; September 16 marks the Mexican Independence Day and October 12 is Columbus Day. National Park Service Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Grand Opening Celebration
(Tuskegee, AL) The Grand Opening of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Celebration is scheduled for October 10-12, 2008. “In the 1940's Tuskegee, Alabama became home to a 'military experiment' to train America's first African-American military pilots.
