Program Related Investment Makers 9th Ward Learning Tour
ACORN members from the Ninth Ward meet with over 50 PRI representatives from across the nation for the “PRI Makers Learning Tour”.
Over fifty Program Related Investment Makers from across the country took a bus tour of several areas devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the Lower 9th Ward on January 30, 2008. Following the tour, the PRI Makers traveled to ACORN’s Lower 9th Ward Center where they were greeted by Vanessa Gueringer and Gwendolyn Adams, chair and co-chair, respectively, of ACORN’s Lower 9th Ward chapter, as well as dozens of other ACORN members...
